We are working on conferences for next year and I was curious to which Mobile Conference would be best to attend. I have been to BlackBerry World but it is obviously BlackBerry centric. I have looked into mobile con but not sure. Any information would be appreciated.

When you setup your other iDevices you can specify another email address to receive iMessages so that your iMessages don’t go to all your devices

I agree, if Google wants Android to be viable in a corporate environment then they need to lead the way. Letting manufacturers dictate what MDM components are available makes it hard for us admins.

Either really. The topic seems to be lending itself towards “MDM wipes are not secure” so I was curious to how BlackBerry’s wipe stood the test and how the MDM wipes compared to the BlackBerry. -

I guess it really depends on how clean you want the device and what level of risk you are willing to accept. Then you have to ask how far do you go? Do you require access to their Cloud storage such as Google Docs or DropBox? Does anyone know how current MDM device wipes compare [...]

We made a decision a year or so ago that no devices be CL, and by doing that we had to implement a solution that Manages BlackBerry and at very least iOS. We are currently evaluating solutions to bring a select group of Androids as well. As a service division of our company we have [...]

We are currently only supporting iOS and Blackberry devices due to the complexity of the Androids mentioned by Matthew . Our goal is and will always be to limit our “corporate footprint” on the device. We don’t want to take any functionality away from personally owned devices unless we absolutely have to.
