I’ve been reading a lot recently on the troubles for the agriculture industry, I feel like enterprise mobility can really help out the automation process. Does anyone have any examples of where its been successfully implement?

    Hi Devin!
Yes, I can share with you one great example of enterprise mobility used in agriculture we just have in the company I work for – Salespod.
A vine factory from Croatia needed a mobile solution that would give their agronomists and vintners more flexibility in work and that would completely exclude their paper work. They also required a solution that can access company data direct from the field and provide their field managers with real time coverage of work done in the field.
Salespod was, fortunately, able to fulfill all their requirements and now their vintners use Salespod to fetch the data direct from company database, fill up forms on vine clusters condition, jobs done on the field, medicine applied on vine clusters etc. They also take photos of the plants and document work done on the vine clusters, track fieldworkers position, track work time, tractor mileage etc.
Though primary use of Salespod is field sales and services, and not surveillance of jobs done on vine clusters, this have shown to us that enterprise mobility has no limits and that it can be easily implemented in the agriculture industry as well.
