Washington, DC — July 19, 2011 CTIA ENTERPRISE & APPLICATIONS™  today announced The Enterprise Mobility Foundation’s (EMF) second annual Enterprise Mobility Boot Camp will be held during its tradeshow at San Diego, CA, October 11-13.

“CTIA ENTERPRISE & APPLICATIONS offers the most important global stage for buyers and sellers of wireless communications solutions to exchange information to enrich the enterprise mobility experience,” said Philippe Winthrop, managing director, EMF. “The boot camp will engage attendees in topical discussions on how to source the most from their mobile strategies—whether they’re looking at tablets or smartphones as new revenue generating tools, productivity enhancing solutions or strictly as a means for improved distributed workforce communications.”

“The Enterprise Mobility Boot Camp is one of our premier partner events that provides attendees with an in-depth education and unprecedented access to potential partners and customers critical to the enterprise mobility ecosystem,” said Robert Mesirow, vice president and show director, CTIA. “Together with the EMF, we are offering IT decision-makers an open dialogue on critical issues they’re facing today, such as how to best deploy mobility within the enterprise with a distinct emphasis  on applications and security.”

The Enterprise Mobility Boot Camp will take place on Monday, October 10th from 12pm-6pm PDT. The event is free to all registered attendees and will include exclusive interactive sessions followed by a networking reception:

Curious on the best “mobility” conference for a business technology team? Interop last year was ok, but seemed “too technical” at some times(i.e. all the possible details on the open bandwidth, but not how to do anything with it, plus it was all hardware vendors in the vendor area) and did not have enough detailed success stories from the panels. We are looking at CTIA Wireless, Mobilize and Interop, any suggestions?
