A New Week, A New Look For The Enterprise Mobility Forum
Since that fateful day, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Too bad that just isn’t good enough for us here at the EMF. We want to do more. That first step happened over the weekend with a fresh new look. As soon as you go to the home page you’ll see a lot more about what is going on on the network. You’ll see what your peers are doing on the site. You’ll see content from all the blogs on this site, as well as which of your enterprise mobility peers has recently been logged in on the site. Oh ya, you’ll also see a LOT more prominently all the various topics (“Tags”) that are covered on the site. But that’s just the “public” homepage.
Once you sign in, you’ll see a customized page that provides you your personal network updates. You’ll more easily be able to see all the latest posts, member comments and registered members (go say “hi” to them!). Beyond the latest and greatest, you’ll easily see the most popular content on the site, as well as what people are discussing outside of the blog content. We want you to feel comfortable and engage in your own discussions and create your own groups on the site.
Speaking of groups – you can now as a registered user create your own email digest. It will get sent out to you whenever you’d like. Daily, weekly, whatever. It’s going to be tied a lot more closely to the rest of the site.
There’s a lot more we’re working on as we speak, but I wanted to at least share with you some of the reasons why you are seeing today a brand new (and hopefully improved) look. Now admittedly, as with all software, there are bugs. We’re working through them as quickly as we can, and we expect them to be gone very shortly. If you catch any, please send me a PM.
Best,
Philippe
